My design philosophy in Zoya Istanbul is, reflecting the lines of my ancestors, and being inspired by my own land. In this “Arch of Sinan” tealight with the admiration for great architect Sinan's pure functional attitude and freedom from the unnecessary details in his work was my inspiration. Zoya Istanbul established its design philosophy on reflecting the lines of its ancestors. I have tried to reflect my admiration for the Seljuk period ornaments in sterling silver jewelry which I started to produced since the first day. This time in the porcelain series, with the “Seljuk Coffee Cup”, I tried to interpret the geometry of that period in a coffee cup. Cups are completely handmade, sized for Turkish coffee or espresso Wishing you to add a different flavor to your coffee time
